12:00 Photographing Ripe and Juicy

         with Kim Manley Ort

The summer Ripe and Juicy market is a feast for the senses – a riot of sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch. Learn ways to capture the essence of the market and this season with your camera. Local photographer, Kim Manley Ort, will offer ideas, tips, and examples and then we will all explore and photograph the market. Afterwards, we’ll get together to share what we found. (1 hour, including market tour)

1:00 The Buzz on Bees

         with Mary, Rosewood Estates

Learn about bees and their crucial role in our food system, and how honey is made and harvested—and even about the ‘terroir’ of honey: the sweet stuff changes from year to year and place to place, depending upon what is available and abundant for the bees. (15–20 minute talk followed by Q&A)

2:00 Stratus Cuts

Explore the vineyard and taste the various cuts of our farm.  Stratus, Tollgate, Wildass and Kabang!

3:00 – 6:00 FIFA World Cup Finals in the Vineyard Tasting Room

Please submit the following form to guarantee yourself a spot at any (or all!) of these seminars. Each is limited to a maximum of 20 people.

Many of the musicians featured in the upcoming Niagara Jazz Festival will be featured from 11 am to 3 pm.

See for yourself here!
