The summer Ripe and Juicy market is a feast for the senses – a riot of sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch. Learn ways to capture the essence of the market and this season with your camera. Local photographer, Kim Manley Ort, will offer ideas, tips, and examples and then we will all explore and photograph the market. Afterwards, we’ll get together to share what we found. (1 hour, including market tour)

with Mary, Rosewood Estates
Learn about bees and their crucial role in our food system, and how honey is made and harvested—and even about the ‘terroir’ of honey: the sweet stuff changes from year to year and place to place, depending upon what is available and abundant for the bees. (15–20 minute talk followed by Q&A)
